Previous Employment:

  • Software Development Intern (SDEV) - Microsoft

I spent summer 2011 interning on the Windows Audio team. It was my first real forray into OS code, and I had a blast. My team was a lot of fun to work with. They liked me so much that I've been offered a full-time position after graduation! Needless to say, I can't wait to go back.

  • Digital Audio Development Intern - Analog DevicesADI-Logo

I spent the summer of 2010 working in Wilmington, MA, with the Digital Audio Unit at Analog Devices. I developed in C#, but also used MATLAB to sketch out algorithms before porting them to C#. I made user-friendly graphical interfaces, some of which were specific to the project and some that could easily be reused. I also did some DSP assembly work, interfacing directly with hardware via USB. It was great work with a really fun team and some former MuEs - can't wait to see where my project will end up.

  • Web Development Intern - TicketNetwork

I used to spend my breaks from school working for TicketNetwork, a major player in the secondary ticket market based in Vernon, CT. I worked with the SERPent team, writing tools for their websites.
I worked mainly with C#, writing tools to track keyword ranking, check for broken links on the websites, and various other useful tasks. I made GUIs and installer packages for all of my apps, making it easy to distribute to the people who need the applications most.

  • Programming TA - University of Miami

I'm one of the "lab guys" for EEN118 - Introduction to Computer Programming at the University of Miami, and TA for all programming courses. I teach the lab section for 118, helping students if they have questions. I also have office hours where students from any programming class can come for help. Topics across the courses range from basic syntax, string parsing, data manipulation, filestreams, object oriented solutions, complex algorithms and data structures, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

  • Contractual Web Developer - Anywhere, USA

Need to make a website? I'd be happy to get a website up and running for you, even under short time constraints.
Do you have some crazy web application you need to make? I've made plenty for people, designing them to their unique specifications. I have experience with Javascript, PHP, and a variety of open source libraries (JQuery, JQplot, etc.). I can provide examples upon request.

  • Musician - Anywhere, USA

I play the bass: Acoustic and electric, jazz and classical. I perform anywhere I find myself with whoever wants to play. It's a fun way to make some cash. I also teach lessons on both the bass and cello.

  • Recording/Live Sound Engineer - University of Miami

I haven't been paid for this, but being a Music Engineer at The U means I get plenty of studio time. I am also head sound engineer in the student recording services program. This means I have the ability to both run your studio and front-of-house positions comfortably. I've worked with big name musicians such as Pat Metheny, Joshua Redmond, Chris Potter, Nester Torres, and Wycliffe Gordon, to name a few. I have some basic equipment of my own which I expand on as I can afford it. I can do anything from set-up and troubleshoot systems, to use them to get the music making happening.

  • Engraver - Various Artists

An Engraver notates music that someone else has come up with, or transfers sheet music from one form to another. I am skilled with both Finale and Sibelius notation software, and will be glad to help anyone notate anything. I can also convert pdf files into MIDI, which is usable by both Finale and Sibelius.
